Keystone Homes is a Texas new home builder with over a decade of experience building in the Austin area. We are locally owned and deliberately focused on the communities we develop rather than spreading ourselves across the state.
Keystone Homes has been building in Central Texas since 2011. Because we are a locally owned and operated homebuilder, the people making decisions about design, construction, and customer experience live in the same metro where those homes are built. Our team has played a role in developing over nine Austin-area neighborhoods and has sold hundreds of homes to Central Texas buyers.
That track record matters because the Austin area is not a generic market. It has its own buyer expectations, climate and soil conditions, regulatory environment, and price dynamics. A national builder with a Texas division is making decisions in a different city. A Texas builder focused on Austin is making them here, with context. That is the difference we lead with, and it shows up in the floor plans we choose to build, the finishes we select, and how we structure our construction process.
We build only in Austin-area communities. Building in and around Austin rather than all over the country is a choice. It lets us stay close to the construction, the buyers, and the subcontractor teams who execute the work. Below are our current communities, with more on the way.

Brahmans Draw · Spicewood, Texas
Brahmans Draw in Spicewood is a gated Hill Country community from the $600s to over $1 million. It sits near Lake Travis and is surrounded by four golf courses, built for retirees, semi-retirees, and Austin luxury buyers who want space and views.
As new Keystone Homes communities come online in the Austin area, we will add them the same way: one community at a time, with the same building standard applied from the first home to the last.

Every Keystone Homes new home comes with a Home of Texas 1/2/10-year limited warranty covering workmanship, mechanical systems, and structural elements. Both communities offer multiple floor plans and elevation options, with structural and finish selections available on homes still early in the build cycle. We also carry quick-move-in inventory for buyers who need a shorter timeline.
Our sales team, construction team, and leadership are based in the Austin area and work directly with buyers from the first visit through closing and beyond.
We structure our construction process around transparency, quality control, and delivering the home on a realistic timeline. From site prep through framing, mechanical rough-in, drywall, finish work, and final walkthrough, we manage experienced trades who execute each stage. The Keystone Homes Construction Team works closely with these trades on every project.

Warranty terms are provided to buyers before they sign the Sales Agreement. Years 1 and 2, Keystone Homes has some responsibilities. Years 3–10, HOME of Texas handles warranty issues.
Yes, within a structured process. Buyers select from defined elevation options, structural options (such as bonus rooms or extended primary suites), and a curated set of finish selections, including flooring, cabinetry, countertops, and fixtures. Structural changes are available on homes still early in the build cycle. Quick-move-in homes already under construction have selections in place.
